Jim Mathers lives in the Tampa Bay area with his wife Fu Mei and his two sons, Seamus and Connor.

He graduated in 1983 with a Nuclear Engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD. He spent the next 5 years as a Nuclear Engineer Officer serving the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. He holds an active Maryland License as a Professional Mechanical Engineer.

After resigning his commission as a Lieutenant, he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton as an engineering consultant for the Trident Submarine New Construction project. From there he was hired as the Liaison Engineer for Naval Sea Systems Command Trident New Construction Management group.

Jim Mathers moved on to be the Executive Director of East Coast Promotions in the Washington DC area for 3 years. After that he was the Executive Director for a Health Care group in Seattle Washington for 6 years.

In July 1999, Jim Mathers co-founded Customer Acquisition Specialists of America, Inc. (CASA) and Consumer Energy Solutions, Inc. (CES). Both companies have grown into nationally recognized energy sales companies.

CASA focuses on the mass market energy consumer while CES is a full service Energy Broker/Consultant for larger commercial energy consumers. Both companies are dedicated to providing customers with high quality Energy Suppliers for their natural gas & electricity needs.

Since July 1999, millions of customers have been given their choice of energy providers and have saved 10’s of millions of dollars off their energy costs while receiving stellar customer service from CASA and CES.
