At the present, Mr. Burda is gainfully
employed by The Boeing Company, where he works in Financial Planning,
Procurement & Cost Management. Prior to that, he held many senior
financial roles at various Fortune 500 companies: SunGard Data Systems
(working for CFO of a division), Lockheed Martin Corporation (Senior
Financial Analyst in Financial Leadership Development Program), CIGNA
HealthCare Corporation, and Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup).
Although Steven is a consummate financial professional, his passion
is working with people and organizations by helping those that are
in need. In his spare time, he assists though a non-profit company,
Burda Consulting Co., which he founded in 2007. Steven's mission
is to help small corporations, groups, individuals and professionals
on various issues, based on personal/professional experiences and
academic education.
Steven Burda is an alumnus of Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management (Honors). He graduated in 2003 with a BBA degree in Finance, with minor in Economics and Russian. He also obtained his MBA from St. Joseph's University (2006) and Post-MBA from Villanova University (2007).
Steven Burda's expertise ranges a variety of subjects, but primarily focused on: professional networking, virtual collaborations and social media (i.e. Linkedin, Web 2.0) and its optimal usage, economic/financial planning and organization, education on savings/investing/debt-management, college/career/life mentoring and coaching, computer/IT use for business and development purposes, strategic management consulting, business/risk advisory and more.
Mr. Burda does this purely out of passion and excitement of helping
others who proactively seek help, advice, consulting & recommendations on above mentioned topics -- both online and offline -- during his own time in the evenings and/or weekends. As it is evident, he's a proactive networker... or "Networking King" as
